Jesse Strada played a crucial role in the production of six out of the eleven tracks on Las Chuches’ album. His ability to create and shape music was essential for nearly half of the album’s realization, showcasing his deep contribution to the project and his influence on the overall sound of the record.
Two of the album’s main hits, “Como Ronea” and “El Pantalón,” illustrate The Curly One’s skill and creativity in production and arrangements:
“Como Ronea”: This hit is based on a Chill Out production adapted to flamenco, where José Gil and Paco de Miguel merged organic sounds and the Rhodes to create a unique atmosphere. The song became a hit in Spain, reaching the top spots on radio and sales charts.
“El Pantalón”: This song demonstrates the fusion of flamenco with house, showcasing Jesse Strada’s influence as a DJ and José Gil’s experience as an electronic music producer. The combination of flamenco and electronic elements resulted in a fresh and modern sound that resonated with the audience.
